Look back to the 13 weeks study in acbe100. I believe this subject improves my communication skill indeed. For example, the assignments improve my writing, speaking and cooperate ability through report and presenting with other people. I know what I have learnt is the foundation for future study and career because these capabilities are extremely useful in future. For example, other professional courses may require me to cooperate with other students to make presentation together. Or I need to tell my boss about my idea with PowerPoint.
I have some thought about my future practice about what I learnt. Firstly, I must practice more to maintain the skill since my native language is not English. If I only use it when I am required to do, I am afraid I would even worse than now. Secondly, I should continue to work hard and listen advice in the future. For instance, I found some obvious shortages myself through tutor’s serious and detailed feedback. In week 2 reflection, I made some form mistakes like using adjective as verb. I wrote “violent rules” but not violate rules. In addition, there are many awkward problems in the sentences. I noticed these problems and wrote second reflection carefully. Therefore, the mark increased by 20 percentages.
In summary, this course is helpful to my future study. Therefore, I need to practice my communication skills in various occasions in case of regression. In addition, I also need to listen to advice and make progress in the future.
